projects addressing the following are invited to apply:

the teaching of music in all musical styles (jazz, indigenous, classic, etc.) at community-based centres especially targeting disadvantaged youth

education in professional and semi-professional contexts in the south african music industry addressing issues such as management and administration, legal and commercial aspects, copyright, etc.

music technology education

education and information, geared at the youth, on issues such as hiv/aids, abuse of women and children, etc, through music.


exchange:

projects that address the following are invited to apply:

interaction between south africans and norwegians, as well as between the people of the sadc, in the field of music.

exchange that directly serves the needs of a project, and is initiated by the parties in the project.

empowerment of the south african live music scene

projects directly addressing specific needs within the context of the south african music industry.
